The in vitro physiological signal telemetry system, which is under development, can continuously monitor and record physiological parameters and indicators such as multi-channel ECG, respiration, oxygen saturation, body movement, body temperature and blood pressure during free activities of big experimental animals like dog and monkey which are awake.

This system uses Bluetooth technology, and features easy application, reliable data and low operation cost. It is able to simultaneously monitor 36 experimental animals and avoid cross interferences between different physiological monitoring signals of different animals. Using two common AA batteries, the system can continuously perform monitoring for 30 days approximately. 

Each type of physiological signal sensor can be mounted in the waistcoat worn by experimental animal. Multi-channel physiological signals collected by the sensor are wirelessly transmitted to the receiver, which then exports signals into the collecting and analyzing system for storage and performs real-time data analysis.
