Ensense Biomedical Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was initiated in 2008 and formally set up in August, 2010. Between 2010 and 2013, it was incubated at the innovation center affiliated with Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. The company engaged Professor Wang Baohua, the doctoral supervisor, the former Chairman of Chinese Society of Biomedical Electronics and Biomedical Measurement Society of China, as the chief expert of R & D. The company also carried out close academic research cooperation with domestic well-known scientific institutes such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Renji Hospital Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Xinhua Hospital, Beijing Fuwai Hospital and RuiJin Hospital. Massive R&D experiments and clinical practice works have been conducted in the fields of implantable telemetry stimulation technology of animal’s physiological signals, cardiac electrophysiological diagnosis and treatment techniques, and etc. The company has continuously invested about 10 million Yuan in the research and development, and participated in 10 research projects funded by Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, 1 project by National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project by SME Technology Innovation Fund, 4 invention patents and 6 utility model patents. The company has capabilities to conduct technical researches and product development and design in terms of miniature implantable telemetry systems, clinical electrophysiological information testing systems, micro sensors, micro systems and micro machine. Many projects in progress will be put into market &application successively.
